The DiTRAP SYSTEM© modules and spare parts are designed to be fully interchangeable with the existing CRT® parts without having to go through any additional modification or trouble to make components fit together.
Dinex offers both cordierite and silicon carbide ceramic filters. The original CRT® is based on Cordierite ceramic filters – a cost-effective and light-weight type of ceramics. However, for more demanding applications like inner city driving, the more durable Silicon Carbide (SiC) type filter is more appropriate, as it offers 5 times higher soot load capacity than Cordierite, and has much higher mechanical strength.
All filter modules are lock seamed and all pipes are bended, rather than welding them; thereby increasing product lifetime and corrosion resistance.
